Island Whimsy Book

With inspiration and joy, interior designer Celerie Kemble braids her family's story into the larger landscape of Playa Grande. "Fantasy" looks at the way she used whimsical elements to create a sense of play and possibility, while "Light, Salt, Air" describes how she brought in the most precious elements of the beach to create a feeling of flow and permeability. "In the Jungle" looks at the design cues she took from the tropical rainforest to create an alluring tension, and "Sweet & Dark" examines surprising color combinations. Finally, "Texture" focuses on the powerful impact that thoughtfully layered materials have on a space.
